""Nice, affordable get away" Our family and friends had a very enjoyable weekend in Big Bear at the Moonridge Getaway. The kitchen was completely stocked with pots and pans, etc., which made cooking breakfasts and dinners for the troops easy. There is a grocery store about a mile away, so you can stock up on food after you arrive. We had no problem getting to the slopes. When we returned at night, the cabin was cozy and warm and had a nice flat screen TV and DVD player to watch movies on. If you have toddlers, make sure you bring something to block off the staircase so the little guys don't take a fall down the stairs (the bedrooms and the main bathroom are downstairs). The owners were very pleasant to interact with, and they gave us our entire deposit back immediately when we were done. We had a very nice time. Highly recommended.
